This free half-day conference forms part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign and brings together professionals, academics, practitioners, charities, NGOs and community partners committed to tackling violence against women and girls.

This free conference will provide an important opportunity to learn, reflect, collaborate and take action. Through keynote presentations, interactive workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities, delegates will explore current challenges, emerging issues and innovative responses to violence against women and girls.
Highlights include:
- A keynote address from Kate Beesley, founder of “Say No to Domestic Abuse and Stalking” and author of the Domestic Abuse Breakthrough Handbook.
- Sessions exploring researching lived experience through collaborative textile art, the growing threat of AI and deepfakes, international perspectives on gender-based violence, police perpetrated domestic abuse and early intervention for better societal outcomes.
- Presentations from Dr Jade Levell and a multidisciplinary panel discussion on Child Sexual Exploitation.
This event will be particularly valuable for professionals working across the criminal justice, social care, health, education and voluntary sectors, as well as researchers, students and community stakeholders interested in advancing social justice and strengthening multi-agency responses.
