Mel Hughes, Peter Atkins, Kate Jupp and Angela Paget would like to invite you to join them in honouring two whole decades of impact, collaboration, and transformation at Bournemouth University’s PIER (Public Involvement in Education and Research) Partnership 20th Anniversary Celebration!

Over the last 20 years, the PIER Partnership has redefined how health and social care education and research engage with lived experience. By working alongside service users, carers, academics, and educators, it has embedded authentic perspectives into teaching, learning activities, assessments, research, practice, and so much more.

This milestone event is an opportunity to come together to:

  • Reflect on the journey and achievements of the PIER Partnership.
  • Celebrate our members, community partners, and staff whose expertise has enriched learning and research.
  • Inspire the next chapter of collaboration!

Whether you’re an academic, community partner, student or simply curious about the PIER Partnership, you’re invited to come along to mark this significant moment with us!

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided. As parking is limited, parking spaces will be prioritised for PIER members. You can park in Asda, free for 2 hours or in local pay and display car parks.
