Come and learn about the importance of sexual well-being across the life course, and how good health and social care practice can support people with their sexual expression.
During the day you will be able to collaborate with key partners, participate in some research and learn about the best ways of supporting sexual well-being.

  • Martin Hedley: sexuality and autism
  • Professor Claire De Than: Faculty of Law, City University discussing sex and the law
  • Professor Lee Ann Fenge: sexuality in older age and LGBTQ
  • Dr Sally Lee: findings from recent research around disability and sexuality

Dr Sally Lee

Programme Lead for the MA and BA Social Work programmes
Sally completed her Post-Doctoral Research in 2016, exploring social work practice, physical disability and sexual well-being. Sally is Programme Lead for the MA and BA Social Work programmes and teaches across both programmes leading the Professional Practice with Adults units and the First Placement unit with the BA students.
