We have been shortlisted for the ‘University of the Year’ category in the ‘Social Worker of the Year Awards 2021’, alongside Durham University. The shortlist is decided by an independent judging panel made up of young care leavers, social workers, industry leaders and people with lived experience of social work.

This award is supported by Torbay Council and the winner will be revealed during a virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday 17 November, so keep an eye out to find out if we are winners… To find out more about this year’s other award categories and their finalists, click here: https://www.socialworkawards.com/news/finalists-announced-for-social-worker-of-the-year-awards-2859/

Alongside this, we are number 1 in Social Work in the Guardian League Table for the second year in a row, with a top score of 100! To find out more about what makes us so great, click here: https://www.theguardian.com/education/ng-interactive/2020/sep/05/best-uk-universities-for-social-work-league-table

We are so proud of our amazing team and all the hard work they have put in over the challenging last year and a half, you have all absolutely smashed it!
