Chloe Kantsas

I am the Workforce Development Team Manager for Social Care, with over 20 years’ experience across statutory social care and the voluntary sector. I began my social work career with the Borough of Poole in 2014, where I completed my ASYE, and continued working through local government reorganisation when BCP Council was formed in 2019. I joined the Workforce Development team in 2023 and now lead workforce development across Children’s Services.

I am a registered social worker, Practice Educator, Safeguarding Adult Practitioner, and Best Interests Assessor. My role involves leading and supporting post‑qualifying development, practice placements, Step Up Local Authority coordination, social work apprenticeships, and partnership working through the Pan Dorset and Wiltshire Teaching Partnership. I also oversee workforce training, data, and recruitment, with a focus on supporting a confident, skilled, and sustainable social care workforce.
